For over 25 years Nick Johnston, the founder of Iron Hill Ltd has been involved with the repair and maintenance of old buildings. From the small town and country residence to cathedrals, churches and castles of international importance.

Nick’s background is in ecclesiastical and architectural stonemasonry. He has worked on new build and conservation/restoration projects throughout the South of England and overseas. He is a qualified stonemason and holds Associate Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) status in historic building surveying. In 2003 he achieved a post graduate diploma in historic building conservation

Nick has a real passion for old buildings and understands the complex issues that come with maintaining them.
